Basic Client Orientation

Reservations must be integrally paid in order to be guaranteed. All reservations are confirmed after payment and availability of motorcycles. Payment shall not be refunded in case of giving up the renting.
Each client shall receive the basic orientation for the appropriate conducting of the motorcycle. Client orientation shall cover all technical aspects for its correct use and maintenance.

Helmets

Helmets are furnished in all motorbikes rentals. Clients are encouraged to bring along their own helmets for their own comfort and style. We remind users that the traffic rules in São Paulo do not admit helmets without a visor.
It is our advice the use of appropriate clothing for the bike piloting with special protection in more fragile and sensitive parts of the body, such as knees, elbows, etc.

Fuel

Fuel costs are on the client´s responsibility. Road Experience recommends that motorcycles be refueled at service stations where product quality can be duly guaranteed and proved. The motorcycle is delivered to the client with full tank and must be returned to Road Experience likewise.

Maintenance Responsibility

The client shall be held responsible for verifying the engine oil at each refuel and report any mechanical failure to Road Experience. In such cases, clients shall contact Road Experience by phone at the emergency numbers which are furnished in the date of signing the rental contract.

Rider Requirements

All riders must be over 28 (twenty eigth) years old and must have a valid drivers license qualifying him or her for the use of a motorcycle in his or her country of origin. Road Experience accepts all drivers licenses issued in all countries provided it is endorsed for the use of motorcycles.

Road Limitations

Motorcycles shall only ride on asphalt roads, to the total exclusion of any earth, sand or stone tracks or trails. The use of the motorcycle is restricted to the Brazilian territory. For international tours further proceedings and limitations shall be required.

Refundable Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit of R$ 6,000.00 (six thousand Reais) shall be made at the rental Check-in.
The security deposit shall be done through valid credit card and shall be cancelled at the Check-out delivering if the motorcycle is delivered in the same conditions it was handed at the Check-list as signed by the client.

Forms of Payment

Cash deposits are not accepted.
Road Experience rentals can be done through the following credit cards:
Visa and Amex.
Deposit in bank accounts shall be accepted solely upon authorization and delivery of the pre-reservation receipt.

Extra riders

A fee of R$ 200,00 a day shall be charged for the permission of one more authorized rider per motorcycle. Road Experience shall not be held liable for the theft, robbery or damages caused to the personal objects of the rider or the passenger.

Rights and Liabilities Policies

Security for the rented motorcycle

A) Any material damage occurring to the motorcycle such as mechanical repairs, theft or robbery or accident shall be of the responsibility of the client up to the limit of the Security (R$ 6,000.00), which shall then be retained through the credit card. Values exceeding that amount arising out of said damages, theft or robbery shall be totally under the responsibility of Road Experience.

B) Road Experience shall be responsible for taking a quotation for the repairs in the motorcycle at an authorized dealership of the brand or at a reliable garage, and any difference of amount (positive) between the security and the cost of the repair shall be returned to the Client in 30 (thirty) days from the date of payment of the services. Road Experience stresses that if there is no incidence of any of the cases for retention of the security deposit, the latter shall be refunded by Road Experience at the “Check List” of delivering the motorcycle.

C) During the time of rental the mileage is free, that is, the Client will be allowed to ride the motorcycle without any limitation to the km covered.

Personal insurance of rider and passenger

A) Any theft or robbery of personal property or any other material damage occurring directly to the Client, his or her passenger or third party out of the use of the rented motorcycle shall not be a liability of Road Experience.

B) It shall also not be the liability of Road Experience any other personal damages, including hospital ones, as well as loss of profit caused by the Client to himself or to his or her passenger or to third parties as arising from the use of the rented motorcycle.

Check-in and Check-out Policies

- Check-list of delivery and return of motorcycle verified and signed by the Client.
- Mandatory safety equipment made available.
- Basic technical coaching for the correct use and riding the motorcycle.
- Previously arranged place and time for delivering and returning at the moment of reservation confirmation.

Traffic Tickets

The Client shall be held entirely responsible for any penalties arising from driving infractions committed during the period of the motorcycle rental, whether monetary or punctuation, which shall be informed by Road Experience to the Traffic Authority, making available to such authorities the copies of drivers license and ID of the driver in case. The Client shall leave an authorization in written for the due discounting in credit card of the amount referring to any traffic ticket, as soon as informed by Road Experience of any such incidence.

Accident, Theft, Robbery and Tech Assistance

Road Experience furnishes emergency phone numbers so that the Client can immediately call and be advised and oriented on how to proceed in case of accident, theft, robbery and tech assistance.

Satellite Monitoring

AMotorbikes are supplied with state-of-the-art satellite monitoring equipment. They also have sealing and sensors all around the bike´s body so that to be guaranteed against any possible adulteration of pieces and accessories.
