Basic Customer Orientation

The guarantee of the reservation will only occur from the availability of the vehicle and payment of 50% of the daily taxes. The cancellation must be done with at least 7 days in advance, otherwise the deposit will not be refunded.

The customers will receive basic guidance to use the motorcycle and will also learn about technical maintenance of the vehicle.

Payment

The payment can be done using credit cards (Flags: visa, mastercard and amex) and/or through bank deposit.

Helmets

We will provide up to two helmets by motorcycle, but we strongly recommend to our customer to use their own, for reasons like comfort, hygiene and style.
We also provide new helmets for direct sale or for lease with purchase option.

It`s important to say that according to the traffic laws is forbidden the use of helmets without visors. We also recommend the use of appropriate clothing for motorcycle driving.

Extra drivers

It Will be charged R$200,00 per Day to allow more than one driver to use the rented vehicle (secondary driver must attend all the terms of “Drivers Requirements”).

Fuel

The vehicle will be delivered to the customer with full tank, It is the customers responsibility to deliver the vehicle at the same conditions otherwise he will be charged R$150 related to administrative costs.

The Road Experience strongly recommends that motorcycles are refueled at gas stations that can ensure and demonstrate the quality of their products.

Political rights and responsabilities

Motorcycle´s insurance

A) The vehicles are insured against theft and property damage, being the sole responsibility of the customer to bear the cost of the vehicle’s repair, limited value according to the franchise already retained through credit card at the check-in

B) In case of misuse of the vehicle or negligence of the lessee while driving it will be charged the full value of the charge (R$4.000,00 of franchise and an additional of R$4.000,00 which would enhance the total value of the collateral damage) previously retained at the check-in.

C) It’s up to Road Experience the performance of a budget for repairs in an authorized dealership or a car workshop and in case of surplus between the collateral value and the value of repair.The remaining amount will be returned to the lessee within 30 days from payment of the services.It should be noted that if there are circumstances in which the retention of the deposit isnot due, it shall be returned by the Road Experience at the devolution of the motorcycle.

Driver and passenger´s personal insurance

A) The Road Experience disclaims liability to bear any personal losses from theft and/or robbery or any damage that occurs directly to the LESSEE, passenger or third when in use of the vehicle

B) Nor is the responsibility of Road Experience to afford any personal damage, hospital costs and lost profits caused by the lessee, including passenger or third when in use of the vehicle during the lease.

Maintenance responsibility

The Road Experience is responsible for maintaining and delivering the vehicle in a safe condition, but it’s the customer responsibility to monitor and inform any problems like:

Low engine oil level checked in refueling; exceeded the mileage limit for an oil change; found possible mechanical or electrical failure.

In case of the customer identify any anomaly about those itens, the Road Experience shall be urgently informed through telephone contact to make arrangements accordingly.

Check-in/Check-out Politics

- Check-list of the current condition during the leasing, agreed and assigned by the client;

- Provide obligatory safety equipment;

- Guidance for the proper use and driving of the vehicle;

- Pre-scheduling the place and time of withdrawal and devolution of vehicle at the time of the booking confirmation.

Driver Requirement

The driver must have the minimum age of 28 years old, possess the driving license that qualifies him/her to drive motorcycle in the country of origins and it must have more than four years old.

Traffic Tickets

The customer is responsible for any penalties due to traffic violation occur during the leasing of the vehicle whether they are pecuniary or penalities.

Road Experience will provide to the respective traffic authority all the data from the lessee (driver’s license copy, and ID) in order to apply the respectivepenalties to the driver’s license.

The customer will formally authorize by contract any payment related to traffic tickets and administrative costs caused by transfering penalties to the driver’s license.

Road Limitations

The motorcycle can only travel on paved roads excluding dirt-roads, sand or stones.

For international uses other procedures and limitations will be required.

Accidents, Theft, Burglary & Support

Road Experience provides emergency telephone numbers to our customers advising them how to proceed immediately in emergencies.

Security Deposit

The value of the security deposit will be accomplished on the check-in of the lease. It will be charged R$4.000,00 of franchise and an additional of R$4.000,00which would enhance the total value of the collateral damage in case of bad use of the vehicle.

The deposit must be accomplished through available credit card, that will be canceled at the retrieving of the vehicle if the vehicle is in the same conditions previously found and agreed with client in contract.

Satellite Monitoring

The vehicle is monitored by satellite makingpossible to track them, monitoring routes and traveled distances, improving the control of the rented vehicles, mainly those with limited mileage, and allowing detection of off-road usage.

The vehicle also has seals and tags through her body, ensuring their integrity, avoiding tampering the accessories and parts. The motorcycle can only travel through paved roads, being forbidden its usage on dirt-roads, sand and stones.

Available only in national territory. For international uses other procedures and limitations will be required
